Dr. Paul Kattner, D.D.S., M.S., M.A.

A lifelong resident of Lake County, Illinois, Dr. Kattner was born in Waukegan and grew up in Gurnee. The son of an educator and homemaker, Dr. Kattner attended the Gurnee District 56 schools and graduated from Warren Township High School in 1981. He then attended the University of Illinois - Urbana and upon his graduation, he immediately enrolled at the University of Illinois - College of Dentistry where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree in 1989.

Dr. Kattner is a licensed specialist in orthodontics

Dr. Kattner's postdoctoral studies earned him a Master's Degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Each of Dr. Kattner's five degrees have been earned with academic honor distinction, and he graduated first in his class (valedictorian) at the University of Illinois - College of Dentistry. Dr. Kattner is a licensed specialist in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics and he averages more than 90 hours of continuing education annually.

Dr. Kattner is honored to have been selected for Diplomate status with the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists. He has also served in leadership roles at a variety of levels within organized dentistry.

When Dr. Kattner is not helping his patients achieve their best smiles, he is actively involved with his local church and enjoys spending time outdoors backpacking, hiking, and enjoying the beauty of God's creation.
